Kuno Kohler


Kuno Kohler, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is an executive coach who specializes in one-to-one coaching of senior executives. He has lived and worked in Europe, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia and Australia. His clients include regional and country leaders from Avon, BASF, Solvay, Rhodia, Singapore Government and MBA students from Stanford University.

 Kuno’s personal expertise is the result of having had different roles in senior management positions as Regional CFO, as Corporate Head of several countries and as Regional President for Asia-Pacific of Ciba, formerly Ciba-Geigy, a Swiss-based multinational company in the Pharmaceuticals and Specialty Chemicals industry.

Kuno’s expertise is in Asia. His coaching services specialize in cross-cultural management and in dealing with leadership issues common to the corporate world. As a Regional President, Kuno was instrumental in country strategy developments for growth markets such as India and China and responsible for an organization with 2,500 employees and sales of USD2 billion.

His functional experience relates to Finance & Accounting, Shared Services Centres, Human Resources and Joint-Venture operations in various countries. He is a certified HR assessor of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is certified in the Reiss Motivation profiling. Kuno holds degrees as a Certified Public Accountant from SKV in Zurich, Switzerland, an MA in Asia-Pacific studies from the University of Leeds in the UK, an MA in Consciousness studies from the University of Philosophical Research in Los Angeles in the USA. In addition, Kuno has attended the Stanford Executive Programme in Palo Alto, USA.
